Position Summary
A project manager is a member of the project management team who manages and directs projects by overseeing administrative tasks, communicating with stakeholders and ensuring resource availability for the project team. They function in large and small projects as needed.


Role Description
The project manager will direct/manage the schedule, budget, issues and risks of the project. The PM ensures the project management framework is well-organized and that it runs smoothly. This can include communicating with various departments in the organization to make sure everyone is on the same page.


Essential Functions include but may not be limited to:

  • Managing project progress and directing project status reports for project managers and stakeholders; organizing the team around specific deliverables, managing issues as appropriate, and identifying opportunities for follow-up on the work

  • Managing team resource scheduling to direct team members to coordinate with stakeholders and have the resources they need to complete their tasks

  • Managing stakeholder meetings and facilitating communication between the project manager and stakeholders throughout the project life cycle

  • Managing project management documents such as the project plan, budget, schedule or scope of work deliverables as directed by the project manager/managing director

  • Directing/Executing a variety of project management administrative tasks such as billing and bookkeeping.

  • Support team members when implementing risk management strategies

  • Writing reports summarizing the activities of the project

  • Providing administrative support to the CBPS Collective leadership team through the Monday.com program management system and a variety of tasks related to organization communication and data collection

  • Handling confidential and time-sensitive material

  • Attending initial site visits and requisite trainings

  • Managing the fulfillment of all objectives and activities relevant to project activities

  • Functioning as a knowledge resource providing a thorough understanding of project deliverables, ensuring processes workforce technology, and culture factors are addressed

  • Managing/Directing reports on resource constraints and operational issues in a timely manner; working with leadership to develop and implement a plan to remove barriers


Experience:
1-3 years of project management experience or evidence of skills and abilities which demonstrate project management skills.
Significant experience in continuous quality improvement AND project management of an interdisciplinary team. Experience in designing an approach, determining the resources needed to complete the project, selection of the methodology, process evaluation and completion of the work.


Education, Skills & Qualifications

  • Project management certifications: Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), project management professional (PMP) or similar

  • Working knowledge of project management software

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office

  • Excellent interpersonal skills needed to coordinate, manage and execute multiple projects to establish and maintain effective working relationships

  • Excellent communication skills, written and oral

  • Exceptional attention to detail

  • Ability to develop project measures of success and standards, analyze progress, perform gap analysis, evaluate outcomes and forecast needs

  • Demonstrated success in resolving operational and procedural problems and conflicts; ability to track and analyze related project issues and legislation at federal, state and local levels

  • Ability to support and guide interdisciplinary teams in the development of the project plan, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures from start through completion of the project. Comfort with decision-making responsibilities, coaching, teaching, and the ability to inspire and build confidence in others to forge alliances and garner support

SALARY/COMPENSATION
$75,000 annual
